We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Kylie Hodges to speak with our team about Executive Presence. Kylie's presentation was not only highly informative but also very engaging. She brought up several important topics that have sparked valuable discussions within our team moving forward.

We invited Vineeta to speak with one of our ERG events, and every single step of the way she was helpful, knowledgeable, and considerate. The event was an incredible hit, and participants noted that they were grateful for her insights, vulnerability, and bravery.

Badassery connected us with Sonya Stattmann for a Mental Health Awareness Month workshop on Beating Burnout and Building Resilience. The whole process was smooth and easy. Sonya did an incredible job presenting our company with science-backed insights and simple tools and techniques. The Badassery team and Sonya were highly responsive, professional, and personable.

Laura Nespoli was a keynote speaker for our company's annual Diversity Days observance. She shares personal experiences as she teaches the role of narrative in building resilience. Her story is relatable and highlights serious matters (an emotionally neglectful childhood, suppressed sexual orientation). In this age of widespread mental illness, I think Laura's frank message is a catalyst for change, authenticity, and healing.

We invited Parissa to speak to our DEI Advisory Board and members of our WE-Together women’s affinity group in honor of Women’s History Month. Parissa presented a fun and thought-provoking session that was contemporary and relatable to our attendees. In addition, Parissa helped our attendees (re)discover their inner "Badasses" and her message deeply resonated with our group. Parissa was able to engage our team in conversation eliciting individual and collective moments where we identified and shared our unique take on our badassery. Specifically, Parissa used modern-day examples (can you say Beyoncé ) to get us to focus on why our core identity matters, the inherent fun in leaning into risk, and remembering the joy of play we had as children. Finally, Parissa provided our team with the knowledge and the tools to tap into our power as leaders and how can bring our Badass qualities to the forefront of our leadership.

We've used Badassery a few times and they've always provided an excellent service/speakers. This time was no exception. Sonya hosted a workshop on goals for our ERG, and shared really practical tips on how we could get better at both goal setting and goal pursuit. We got lots of positive feedback from the group.

Overall experience with Badassery was seamless. Vineeta joined our ERG community to talk about the importance of networking and shared some great tips with the team. She made the session engaging by dividing the teams into small groups to practice what they learned.

Each year, our mid-sized event marketing agency runs a small client event for our key clients, focused on thought leadership and best practice sharing. Every year, we invite one external keynote presentation on a relevant topic, and this year, we brought in Vineeta Malhotra, from the Badassery site. Due to crazy summer weather and airline struggles, and through no fault of her own, Vineeta ended up being stranded in NYC and could not fly to Chicago for our event, but she was game to calling in virtually, and we figured out a technology solution where she presented to our audience virtually. Her presentation was good content, she presented some relevant and interesting case studies, and asked good questions of our audience. I would love to have Vineeta back -- in person this time!

We partnered with Aniekeme Umoh for our Juneteenth Panel, Leveling Up Your Career. She was well prepared and provided insight to her answers ahead of time, timely for our prep meetings, and provided a great presence the day of the session. She was great to work with and I'd love to partner with her again!

We partnered with Elise for a virtual, company-wide event during Pride Month to explore LGBTQ+ identities. Our goal was two-fold: 1) provide an engaging and educational opportunity for employees and 2) ensure our own Pride community at the company felt seen, heard, and represented. Elise was a fantastic partner in helping us achieve both! They came with thoughtful and insightful content while being super flexible about adapting it to our company culture and specific requests. Elise even introduced a new presentation style we had suggested in passing to make the virtual experience both interactive and very safe. We've gotten nothing but positive feedback on the event and it's in large thanks to Elise's expertise, professionalism, and welcoming personality. We loved working with them and would highly recommend Elise to anyone interested in curating a safe space for insightful learning.
